I was going to do a blog with a christmas workout involving trees, nana’s eggnog and some crazy sit ups with mince pies on each knee for motivation… then I thought- just relax!
December is the month of fun, family, food and rest. I’ve been lucky enough to spend a fortnight recharging the batteries for the new year on the crystal blue beaches of Australia! It is the first time I’ve taken more than 1 full week off from work in 7 years and the first time I’ve actually lost weight and felt rejuvenated after christmas… without actively exercising once! Also I discovered the joy of this amazing Australian confectionary… Cherry Ripe.
Just by resting my mind and body, fully relaxing, and having fun with friends and family… I’ve been able to lose excess weight that sleep deprivation and a busy lifestyle have kept me from shedding…
So, Merry Christmas and bring on 2016!
